Neptunes: Registration is OPEN!
Dear Swim Team families,
Summer swim registration is now OPEN!! https://nfstneptunes.swimtopia.com. Make sure to login to Swimtopia, so your previous information can be used (you will be able to update info as well). Register by May 27th to receive your FREE, newly designed, Neptunes t-shirt!
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFO:
1. 2018 Coaching Staff: We are excited to announce our returning coaches for the 2018 Neptunes season. Jamie Visbeck will be returning as our Head Coach, as well as Assistant Coaches Miranda Parker, Wolfgang Kerat, and Casey Barry. Our Swimmer Coaches will be Fiona Price, Ethan Gilmore and Craig Allison. In addition, Christine Gilmore will be back as our Minis Program Coordinator.
2. Swim Team Information meeting: On May 2nd from 7-8:30pm we will meet in the NF Community Center to cover important information about the season, answer questions, and meet coaches and board members. It’s a great opportunity to invite your neighbors and friends who may be interested in joining the swim team.
3. May 12th, 8-10am Pool Cleanup & 9-11am Swimsuit fittings: At the NF Community Center. Help our HOA and swim team by lending a hand to clean up the pool facility. Try-on and order team swimsuits (discounted merchandise will be available). This is the last day to order personalized swim caps. In addition, a Board Member and Team Rep will be available to answer questions about our swim team (& accept checks for your registration & volunteer fees).
4. May 29th: First day of afternoon practices. 4-5pm for 13-18 year olds. 5-6pm for 9-12 year olds. 6-6:50pm for 8 & unders.
5. June 3rd, 5-7pm - First Annual Neptunes Kick-off BBQ: Come join the team, coaches, & board members as we kick off the season together. Purchase spiritwear. Learn about volunteer roles. Meet our sponsors. And best of all – meet fellow swimmers and their families!
6. NVSL Clinics: Mark you calendars with NVSL training to prepare for volunteering at swim meets. Clinics are required for Stroke & Turn, Referee, Starter, and highly recommended for Clerk of Course, Table Workers, Chief Timer, and others. Dates and times are on attached document.
7. Neptunes Website: We have been updating our Neptunes website with helpful information. https://nfstneptunes.swimtopia.com Please bear with us as we continue this process, and check back regularly. PLUS - we have created a new Team Handbook which has been posted on the website. Check it out!
8. Attachments: Soon we will have all events listed on the website under the tab “Events & Sign-ups” but in the meantime, attached are the following:
- Listing of ALL swim meets and social events for the summer (2018 Meets & Social).
- Flyer to share with friends. Invite them to join the swim team. (NFST flyer - HOA – 2018)
- 2018 NVSL Officials Clinics: a listing of classes for swim meet volunteer positions (Officials Clinic Schedule - NVSL 2018)
