Help the Neptunes Make a Splash!

Just like that, Summer 2026 is upon us! We are excited to be swimming another summer season in NVSL Division 15. Last summer, 137 Newington Forest swimmers ages 4-18 swam for the Neptunes. We came in second in our Division and were voted Divisional Sportsmanship Awardees for the third time in the past four years. That's a real testament to the positive team environment we have here in Newington Forest. On top of that, 3 team records were broken and we sent our first swimmer in 8 years to the Individual All-Star Meet!

In 2026, our primary purpose for raising funds is for our scholarship program. Any additional funds raised will be used to purchase special “golden swim caps” that are part of a new recognition program our coaching staff would like to put in place for our swimmers. We have some additional equipment on our “wish list” for the team, like additional signage for meet days to improve traffic safety, a mister fan to keep athletes and officials cool on the pool deck, and an upgraded inventory system and equipment storage.

We would be proud to promote your company through a partnership with our team. Ready to dive in? Send us an email at [email protected].

2025 Swim-a-thon

Go Mighty Neptunes! What a community we have! We want to thank our volunteers and swimmers who made our 10th annual Swim-a-thon a success!

  • We had 90 swimmers this year who, together, swam 6,430 lengths; that's the equivalent of 160,738m.
  • We raised $4,458! Which puts new equipment and our golden caps program within reach for next season.
  • Kudos to our top swimmers: Minis--Aria Alvarez (110), Oliver Haffner (110), and Coach Maggie (110)--and Neptunes - Paulo Carvallo (200), Emmett Keating (200), and Anna Payne (170). You know what that means - you get to pie your coach of choice in the face at the Coaches Awards on July 17!

The 34 swimmers who swam 100 or more lengths are:
