Saturday - Swim Meet
July 5th
(Home) Swim Meet on Saturday vs. Pinewood Lake
**Check to see if your child is swimming.**
VOLUNTEERS - great opportunity to help earn your volunteer hours. No experience necessary for these positions!!
- SETUP: We need more parents to help set up the pool at 7:15am.
- Marshals from 8am-10am and/or 10am-12pm. Keep swimmers and spectators safe and orderly.
- Concessions (2 positions from 8am-noon): Help setup and sell food.
- Runner from 8:30-11:30am: Help collect timecards and DQ slips from Chief Timer & Ref, and send to Table Workers.
- Awards Clerk from 8:30-12pm: Table worker in the AIR CONDITIONED Community Center. Making ribbons for our swimmers.
- Relay Take-Off Judges: Only needed for the end of the meet during relay events. Make sure swimmers enter water after previous swimmer touches wall.
- CLEANUP: We need EVERYONE to assist with this as soon as the swim meet is over. It goes quickly when we work together. Check with Mike Cabot or Tyler Wyllie (Team Reps) for instructions on what pool furniture goes where.
Saturday's timing:
- 7:15am – Parents help setup
- 7:45am – Swimmers PROMPT arrival. Marshals MUST be on the deck by this time!
- 8:00am – Neptunes warmup (20 min max. Visiting team warms up after.)
- 8:30am – Minis arrive. Minis swim at 8:50am.
- 9:00am – Swim meet begins
- ~11:30am – Swim meet ends (& cleanup begins)
- Team lunch: We are having a team lunch after the meet at noon at Glory Days, 9459 Lorton Market St, Lorton, VA 22079. This is for the whole team, not just those swimming in the A meet. 10% of our sales will go back to our team (This fundraiser is good for the entire month of July) - just turn in your itemized receipts to Lisa Pratt.
- PNats makeup game on Saturday, July 7th at 6:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for any additional families wishing to attend.
LOST & FOUND: Has anyone found an extra team shirt marked "Eli" in the collar? Please turn it in to Coach Jamie. He may have yours.
