First, I want to thank all of the team families & swimmers – what a great 2018 swim season this has been. We are almost finished. *Skills session tonight. *Last practice tomorrow. *Ice Cream social and Paper Paper Awards tomorrow night. *Divisionals on Saturday. Finished with the *End of Season party on Sunday. MINIS – The parties are for you too!! Please join the team on Friday night and Sunday evening for some fun!!

Volunteers!! I still need some. PLEASE consider helping.
Location: Pleasant Valley Pool, 4347 Cub Run, Chantilly, VA. (We were there in 2016 for Divisionals.) **It is 20 miles away and could take up to 45 minutes. Please check directions and traffic in advance of your planned departure time.
Parking: The pool parking lot will be reserved for some team officials. There is plenty of neighborhood parking available.
Team area #5 and is on a tennis court. We will have our 2 team tents. Please bring your own seating (sun lotion, bug spray, etc). Weather is always changing, but looks like 50% chance of rain. More popup tents are always welcomed.
REMINDER: Divisionals will be broken into 2 halves. (IM-Free-Back) is 1st half and (Breast-Fly) is second half.
TIMING: Once the meet begins, all further times are estimates (except briefings). We list “no earlier than” times, as this is the earliest time that the events will start, but they will most likely start later. For updated arrival/start times, we will text through REMIND. 7:45am – 1st half Timers Check-in
7:45am – Neptunes swimmer arrival
7:45am – 1st half Officials Briefing (Referee, S&T Judges, Chief Judge) a diving board.
7:50am – 1st half Marshals briefing at diving board (with Referee/Starter)
8:00am – 1st half Clerk of Course Check-in
8:00am – 1st half Table Workers Check-in
8:00-8:15am – Neptunes warmups in lanes 4, 5, 6 **PLEASE NOTE: This is the ONLY team warmup time. Additional warmups are 1 lane per team (we are lane #5), for 5-10 minutes, before each stroke. (Before free, back, breast and fly)
8:00am – 1st half Timers briefing (with Chief Timer) at diving board
8:15am – 1st half Clerk of Course briefing with Ref in Clerk of Course area. Table Workers briefing with Division Coordinator at Tables & Awards area.
8:20am – Coaches’ briefing in coaches viewing area (with Divisional Coordinator, Ref)
8:30am – MEET BEGINS (with IM)
9:00am – Freestyle warmups in lane #5
9:15am – Freestyle event begins (NO EARLIER THAN)
9:45am – Back warmups in lane #5
10:00am – Backstroke event begins (NO EARLIER THAN)
10:10am – 2nd Half Marshals briefing (with Admin Ref) on deck behind diving well
10:20am – 2nd Half Officials Briefing (with Admin Ref) on deck behind diving well
10:30am – 2nd Half Timers Briefing (with 2nd half Chief Timer) on deck behind diving well.
10:20am – Presentation of Division Trophy & Sportsmanship Award.
10:25am – Breast Warmups
10:45am – Breaststroke Event begins (NO EARLIER THAN)
11:15a – Butterfly Warmups
11:30am – Butterfly Event begins (NO EARLIER THAN)
**There will be a 5-10 minute warmup period between each stroke (free, back, breast, fly). One team per lane. **Only those swimmers swimming the next stroke may warmup
