Divisionals Email #4 - CLARIFICATION
Some families have asked when their swimmers need to arrive for warmups.
The main team warmup is from 8:00-8:10am. Unlike the warmups prior to each stroke (free, back, breast, fly, IM) our team will have THREE lanes to practice. Coaches strongly encourage swimmers for freestyle and backstroke to arrive at 7:30am for the main 8:00am warmup.
For other strokes, we recommend swimmers arrive for the start of the stroke BEFORE the stroke they will swim. For example: If you are swimming breaststroke, please arrive at the beginning of backstroke (or you are also welcomed to attend the larger warmup at 8am, and again warmup just prior to breaststroke in lane #3). Fly should arrive at the start of breast. And IM should arrive by the half-time break.
Please remember that there will be 5-10 minute warmups prior to EACH stroke. There will also be a 15 minute break at the half, prior to fly and IM events.
