Hello Neptunes! 

Practice begins tomorrow! Here are a few key reminders and bits of information: 

Pool Registration: Remember that swimmers AND parents will need to be registered for pool entry, per the HOA board’s new process. Follow those instructions to complete your registration or visit the Newington Forest POOL PAGE and click the Registration button. You will not be able to get into the pool without this registration! 

Check In with the Swim Team Board: The swim team board will be set up towards the back of the pool deck and can answer any questions you have. Make sure to check in with us on your first day of practice, so that we can ensure that you have filled out the Covid-19 waiver and can share lane assignments for younger swimmers. 

Practice Times: 

• 13-18 year-olds: 4:00-5:00pm 
• 9-12 year-olds: 5:00-6:00pm 
• 8 & Under: 6:00-6:50pm

Practice Information: Due to the cooler water temperatures this weekend: 

• Coaches recommend that younger swimmers wear swim shirts if possible. 
• Coaches will spend some time outside of the pool getting to know the swimmers and doing dry land workouts. 
• Coaches will limit pool time for 8 & Unders and 9-12 year olds. 

Checklist: 

• POOL REGISTRATION COMPLETED ONLINE 
• Swimsuit 
• Goggles 
• Towel 
• Sunscreen 
• Water bottle 
• Hair ties (if you have long hair, tie it up for safety) Swim cap isn’t required but is helpful.
