Hello Neptunes!

Saturday is our first dual meet of the season! It is important that every swimmer listed in the attached roster is in attendance. Other swimmers are also welcome to attend and cheer the team on! Here’s the information.

Neptunes Arrival: 8:00am
Netpunes Warm-up: 8:25am
Meet Begins: 9:00am
Meet Ends: 11:30am (estimated)

Who? See attached roster – and please be there if you’re listed!
NOTE: A-meets are determined by swimmer times. B-meets (see below!) are where everyone can swim.

How? Volunteers! We still need several key roles filled for this meet, including an assistant chief timer, someone to help at clerk of course, and relay take off judges (easy job towards the end of the meet!). All of these positions will get on-the-job training. Sign up here!

Volunteer Dress Code: White top (with no team logo) over navy bottoms.

Don't forget: Goggles, swimsuit, water, towel, money for concessions!

Coming up:

Home B-meet on Monday!
Our first home meet is on Monday, June 20^th, with Laurel Hill visiting. All swimmers have the opportunity to swim two strokes (or one stroke and the IM); because we are doing things a bit differently this year, we need every swimmer to indicate their availability by Friday HERE. We also have a number of volunteer positions to fill HERE.

We will also have our first Mini-Neptunes lollipop swim at the beginning of the meet! All minis are invited to swim across the dive tank with a kickboard and swimmer-coach/mini-helpers assistance.

Team Pictures on Tuesday!
We will have team pictures on Tuesday, June 21^st. Swimmers should arrive by 8:00 AM. We ask that all Neptunes and Mini-Neptunes attend, even if you do not intend to purchase a picture (we want everyone’s smiling faces in the team picture!).

Families are not required to pay for any pictures before they are taken. All members will be photographed individually or in sibling groups. Families will be able to review proofs through an online portrait gallery before selecting which photos you would like to purchase. Parents can choose multiple images to create a customized package. The company allows for purchase of an 8 x 10 as a single item or with a few different options. Team 8x10 prints are $16. Photo gifts and other portrait packages start at $15.
