Hello Neptunes!

We have a busy week ahead, with a lot of meets during the first two weeks of the NVSL season and a couple of Wednesday meets thrown in (it then slows down a bit). See below for information on upcoming meets.

Saturday is our first dual meet of the season! It is important that every swimmer listed in the attached roster is in attendance. Other swimmers are also welcome to attend and cheer the team on! Here’s the information.

Meet Begins: 9:00am

See attached roster – and please be there if you’re listed!NOTE: A-meets are determined by swimmer times. B-meets (see below!) are where everyone can swim.

Volunteer Dress Code:White top (with no team logo) over navy bottoms.

Swimmers, don't forget: Goggles, swimsuit, water, towel, sunscreen, money for concessions!

Coming up:

Home B-meet on Monday!
Our first home meet is on Monday, June 19th, with Rolling Valley visiting. All swimmers have the opportunity to swim two strokes (or one stroke and the IM); because we are doing things a bit differently this year, we need every swimmer to indicate their availability. We asked for this by today, but if you haven’t done so, please do it ASAP HERE. We also have several volunteer positions to fill HERE.

We will also have our first Mini-Neptunes lollipop swim at the beginning of the meet! All minis are invited to swim across the dive tank with a kickboard and swimmer-coach/mini-helpers assistance.

Fort Hunt Sportsmen Relay on Wednesday 6/21!

Wednesday, June 21st is a FUN relay carnival event that we participate in with other
Mount Vernon area swim teams. All Neptunes are welcome to declare as available,
and the coaches will do their best to get the most swimmers possible into the event. It
includes things like Girl/Boy combination relays, and ends with a coaches relay.
Declare swimmer availability HERE no later than 12pm—noon—on Sunday.
